12:30pm Steve Bannon Opposition Phone-a-Thon

November 22, 2016 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

A small organizing collective of Americans abroad will organise a space for Americans to call their representatives and senators to demand they oppose Bannon’s appointment. The phone-a-thon will help facilitate political engagement for Americans abroad, and turn an otherwise individual or solitary act of engagement into a collective one. Interested U.S. citizens are welcomes to drop in and place a quick phone-call using this guide. You can either bring your own phone, or place a call through one of the laptops provided.

Note: Steve Bannon is an American businessman and media executive for a politically conservative news website. He has served as chief executive officer of the Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, and is currently in line to become chief strategist and Senior Counselor of the Trump presidency. He has been accused of racism and white nationalism, as well as ties to the alt-right.
